If you would like to view the entire list of available chemicals, simply click on the “Search” button.  It may take several seconds to load, but soon you will see the entire alphabetical list of chemicals.  If you see something you would like, just click on the small “Order” button at the end of the line describing the chemical.

If you’re looking for a particular chemical, you can enter the name of the chemical in the blank and click “Search”.  If we have any of the items you are looking for, a short list will appear.  You will see the name of the chemical, the manufacturer, the size and some other information.  If you’d like to order one or more, just click on the “Order” button.

When you do click on the “Order” button, a new screen will appear.  You’ll need to fill in all the blanks.  Notice that the first blank, “Department,” is a pull-down menu. If your department isn’t listed, please e-mail the department name to webadmin@cehs.siu.edu. If there is a certain time or day you would prefer delivery, note that in the “Comments” section when you fill in the order form.

If the one item is all that you want, click on “Process Order” after you have filled in all the blanks.  If you want several items, fill in the blanks, and then click on “Continue Shopping”.  When you have ordered everything you want, click “Process Order”.

If you have begun to fill out the order form and decide you don’t want an item, click the button that says “Delete Order”.  A new screen will appear, almost identical to the previous one, and it will say (in red print) “Are you sure you want to delete this order?”  You then have the option to click “Yes” or “No”.

You will receive a confirmation of your order at the e-mail address you listed on the order form.  In most cases, the requested chemicals will be delivered within two working days.

If you receive the chemical and do not want it for any reason, just let us know at the time of delivery and we will take it back with us, or contact us later and we will come back and collect it.
