Chancellor Wendler and Mythili Rundblade with Kris Schachel.  Kris is an Environmental Resources & Policy Ph.D. student from Rock Island, Illinois (Carbondale, Illinois since 1996). Kris serves as the Executive Director of Keep Carbondale Beautiful and the Southern Illinois Center for a Sustainable Future, two non-profit corporations which focus on environmental issues.
