Beautify Southern Illinois Day   ||See the pictures|

On a cool Saturday morning, over forty SIUC students joined the Beautify Southern Illinois Student Alliance for a very productive
Beautify Southern Illinois Day event. Volunteers picked up litter on the SIUC campus (Thompson Woods & Piles Fork Creek areas) as well as several areas of Carbondale including “The Strip”, City of Carbondale parking lots adjacent to the SIUC campus, and the bike trail near Papa Johns Pizza & Pinch Penny.

Support for the event was provided by Undergraduate Student Government. Door prizes were provided by Gold’s Gym, KISS FM 92.7 and Taco John’s.
